Newsies.

Yours truly in a Courier-Journal article on Louisville blogs today. In today's small-town-after-all category, I went to college with Ali Sareea, also interviewed for the article.

In the sidebar, of course they used the recent foreign porn comment. It's the kind of thing that makes me glad my mom doesn't read this. Or the C-J. Or anything online that's not sold on ebay. I'm pretty sure she thinks email is just a well-publicized perk for auction site power users.

Thanks to my dedicated publicist for hooking me up with this article. If you've come here from the C-J, take a look at some of the fine-ass people linked down the side of this screen. You won't be sorry.

By the way, San Francisco is amazing as always. And today I got out of the city -- hugged a redwood, tasted tasty wines, and dug my toes into the Pacific at the World's Most Dangerous Goat Beach. Missed the Pride parade but sacrifices had to be made in the name of wine and jellyfish.

This West Coast stuff is nice! Now I know what I've been missing. Thanks for bringing me along, kiddo.

Yay! I'm glad you had a good time in Kullyfonia. Sonoma County represent yo.

Goat rock! My sister almost got sucked out into the ocean one time at Goat Rock.

That pic of the first guy makes bloggers look sinister. Are they? I've heard stories.

Was in SF this weekend as well. I thought I sensed a disturbance.

Hey left-coasters!

The EEK blog is divine! Kudos for recent group therapy concerning teaching and whatnot.

The sex tips on the EEK blog have saved my marriage and helped me hide the incestuous relationship I have with my adopted pot-bellied pigs!

Hope you're having a blast. Worked in the Mission District before I moved to FL. SF RAWKS and yes, I did leave a bit of my heart there when I left.

I left my wallet in El Sequndo.

way to represent, eek. I'm glad they used that particular "blogbite" from you, it was one of your more eloquent moments. And it probably terrified all the folks in charge out in the sticks.

And how nice that Mr. Coomes couldn't find one single politically-oriented blog that isn't by a rightwing extremist to include in his little article. (I don't consider your blog to be political, as I assume is the case for you, too.)

But what should I expect - his newspaper sucks donkey cocks in the backstreets of Cuernavaca. (To paraphrase Lester Bangs, I think.)

I tried to steer him toward you and Virtual Pus, but that Lorem Ipsum dude has been around for a long time. What can you do.

And nah, I don't consider EEK! to be a political blog. There are so many who are really committed to that topic and they do it so well. You've seen what happens when I try to comment on politics, I go absolutely incoherently MAD.

Posted by: eek at June 28, 2005 05:56 PM

That dude contacted me, but I politely declined to be interviewed. Thanks for steering, though. (And yes, I realize it's three months later. I'm catching up, dammit!)
