EEK!

Thanks for this link to the Forbdden Library – love it! As I read through the list I was surprised how subversive I - an old curmudgeon – am. The entry that stunned me: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. By C.S. Lewis for "graphic violence, mysticism, and gore." – I wonder if the Howard County, Md. school system realized that Lewis’ “mysticism” was “Christian mysticism?” No one on the review board probably read the book, or if they did, they took the story literally. Ignorance devours itself.

I think it’s time for me to re-read Fahrenheit 451.

oh, so that's where Waldo was. Funny, the "nudity" was considered unacceptible, but that scene where Waldo was beating up a crack-whore was OK I guess.
