A haiku by Issa.

Blossoms at night,
and the faces of people
moved by music.

Issa is my favorite haiku poet. I like his sense of humor. He lives in a delicate, imperfect world, but he has a great sense of humor in many of his haikus. Here's one I like, I hope I'm remembering it correctly:

Don't be frightened spiders,
I keep house casually

Here's another:

children imitating cormorants
are even better than cormorants
